The SHINE trial was a randomized trial of treatment shortening for minimal tuberculosis with new WHO-recommended doses/fixed-dose-combination drugs in African and Indian HIV+ and HIV- children; the first TB treatment shortening trial in children.
The SHINE trial was run by researchers based at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL, with funding from the Joint Global Health Trials Scheme of the Department for International Development UK (DFID), the Wellcome Trust, the Medical Research Council (MRC UK) and TB Alliance.
The SHINE trial team contributed CXRs taken from children who were enrolled on the trial to this Image Library.
